Pasta Review @ Seri Pacific
Thanks to
Stephen Wong & Kel Li for giving me the one of a
lifetime opportunity to taste one of the world’s best
pasta, by a leading Swiss chef – Marco Ragnacci.
Marco was on a world tour to promote his cookbook called
Pasta At Play, which will hit the market by next week.
Priced at RM 49, it has a whole book full of yummy
pasta’s recipes. Hopefully, Marco will also open a
franchise here soon, but not now until further notice.
Go visit Kinokuniya/ MPH to get your hands on the pasta
book NOW!
Recently a group of us, mainly all bloggers – Kel Li,
Nat, KY, FireAngel and I were invited to have a FOOD &
BOOK review at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Apparently Stephen Wong who was the photographer for
Marco’s book was a “long time” reader of our blogs. So
it was an intention of getting the bloggers to taste the
food and make a review after that.
We don’t only get to eat, but also managed to see the
WHOLE cooking process. Marco did all 4 pasta at one shot
in less than 30 minutes. Wow, that’s fast. Now I know
what it takes to have GOOD pasta – the sauce, cheese,
the pasta noodles, the toppings, pepper, tomatoes and
MORE!
Be set to drool!!!! *Slurrp*
The FOOD lovers! hahaha! Clockwise: FireAngel, Kel Li,
Nat & KY

Pasta secret ingredients... tomatoes are my fav!
The pasta noodles all ready to be eaten
The chef was busy preparing the FOOD for us
The cooking process below, he cooked all 4 pastas at one
time

Half Ready... It look sooo yummy already!

Then it came to the most important time! Add in almost the whole tub of Mascarpone,
a triple creme cheese widely used in Italian dishes
After adding in the cheese, this is what it looks like!
The smell was killing me! I can't wait to eat

All put at the table and ready to be tested! Jom, let's
start to makan!
My top 2 favourite were the Asian Flavor & vegetarian pasta! Asian flavor tasted very much
of curry powder and the taste was simply unique! The
sauce was thick and cheesy!
I love this so much! Definitely a fav among tomato based
pasta lovers!

The taste of this pasta dish resembles very much like the vegetarian pasta,
except that chicken breast was served! Good too!

I don't particular fancy this, a little too thick & creamy for my liking. But the rest were
pretty happy with this and apparently it was Marco's fav
pasta too.
A happy and contented group photo with the chefs!
Go grab a copy of the book now!
Well lucky me got a FREE copy of the cook book
autographed by the chef himself!

Hmm... let's see when will I start my cooking lessons huh? LOL! :P
